In conjunction with Allerdale Borough Council, Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and English Heritage, 28 different viewpoints were chosen to assist with the assessment of visual intrusion of the proposed Westnewton wind cluster. As part of the assessment, photomontages were prepared. Eighteen of the photomontages, where the wind turbines are visible, are shown on the interactive maps. The seven locations nearest to the wind cluster are shown on the close up of the site area.
